Service Description

We provide thorough, one‑to‑one diagnostic assessments for dyslexia. Our goal is to give you clear insight into how you—or your child—learn best and to deliver a practical plan that works at school, university and in the workplace. Every assessment is carried out in a calm, supportive environment and results in a clear report with evidence‑based recommendations you can act on straight away. Our assessments support people at every stage of education and employment. For school‑age children, we offer a clear picture of strengths and needs, alongside a tailored support plan that teachers and families can use at home and in class. For college and university students, we provide the evidence required for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) and Exam Access Arrangements, helping you secure adjustments such as extra time, a reader or scribe, or the use of assistive technology. For adults, we clarify your learning profile and identify appropriate workplace adjustments, so you can perform at your best and communicate your needs with confidence. You will receive a clear, plain‑English report that explains results and offers a formal diagnostic conclusion where appropriate. The report includes evidence‑based recommendations for study, exams and work, and is suitable for DSA applications, accepted by schools, universities and employers in the UK, and provides evidence for Exam Access Arrangements (for example, extra time, a reader/scribe or assistive technology). We also offer follow‑up time to talk through the findings and next steps, so you leave with a simple, actionable plan. Our guidance is tailored to the individual and focuses on strategies that work day‑to‑day. We suggest classroom approaches and workplace adjustments, study methods that make reading, writing and maths more manageable, and helpful technology to support organisation, note‑taking, reading and calculation. Recommendations are designed to work at home, in class, during exams and at work. We recognise and build on each person’s strengths. All assessments are aligned with current UK guidance for diagnostic assessments and for exam‑access evidence. Our reports are clear, practical and designed to be shared with teachers, disability advisers and employers, so everyone understands how to provide effective support.
